Movie Review – Cashback (2006) – 4 Stars
What would you do if you couldn’t sleep? How would you fill those extra eight hours? And how would suddenly finding yourself with more time change your perception of it? Originally a multiple award winning eighteen minute short film from 2004, ‘Cashback’ was extended to feature length (still containing the original) two years later. The performances are outstanding, and the themes that are touched upon are profound and deeply relevant. Even the smaller things like costumes and props are noticeable positive qualities of this film. “The bad news is that time flies. The good news… is that you’re the pilot.”
