Restaurant Review – Baraki Upo Mezethes (Melbourne VIC) – 3.5 Stars

Note, that while I’m reviewing Baraki as a restaurant, and it’s often listed on the web as a restaurant – it’s really a bar. So while they take dinner bookings, be aware that you’ll be sitting at a table, knife and fork in hand, surrounded by people mingling and drinking rum and coke. It’s not a problem if you’re cool with that, as they serve really great food. The affordable wine list perfectly supports the innovative Greek tapas, with delights such as char-grilled spiced octopus, haloumi with red apple sorbet, tender lamb meatballs in sweet tomato sugo, and gourmet mini souvlakettes.
