Restaurant Review - Ishiya Japanese Stonegrill (Melbourne VIC) – 4 Stars

For me, it really doesn’t get any better than my main course at Ishiya – a big chunk of raw tenderloin steak, my own private stone grill, and a selection of sauces. I’d read mixed reviews about this place, especially with regard to group bookings, and as we had a group of 18, I was a little worried. But service was great (only issue was one main served, apologetically, five minutes after the rest) and the food was outstanding. You should also be aware that they won’t serve tap water. But I stuck with the beer, and really enjoyed my meal.
