Beer Review – Hazards Ale (Wineglass Bay Brewing) – 3.5 Stars

With a good amount of malty sediment sitting in the bottle, you know you’ve got a nice meaty drink ahead of you. Hazards Ale, micro-brewed at the Freycinet Vineyard on the East coast of Tasmania, has a great combination of a crisp taste without feeling like it’s lacking any flavours. In fact, it’s got a good citrusy smell and nice floral tones over the malt base. The biggest problem that you’ll have with Hazards Ale, like a lot of good micro-brews, is that it can be tough to track down, and when you do (or order online) it’s quite pricy.
