Restaurant Review – The Provincial (Fitzroy VIC) – 4 Stars
The Provincial is one of my favourite places on Brunswick Street. It’s incredibly versatile; offering beautiful meals for a romantic dinner, great pub grub on your way to see some live music, and a nice bar for a boozy night out with the boys. This time was a bit of a combination with a group of friend there for a sit down meal. The steaks were simple, and cooked to perfection, and the wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. One surprising highlight was the garlic bread, with smashed garlic cloves baked right onto the bread, sweetening it up perfectly.
